What's actually happening Right Now
On September 15, Neptune sextiles Pluto exactly.
The last time those two bodies made that contact was June 9, 1986. Before that, the 1970s. Before that, the 1950s. They are the two slowest, most era-defining objects in the chart, and they spend most of a human lifetime within a few degrees of an aspect without ever closing it.
This one closes. The series runs in pairs through 2030 and separates for good in 2032 — a six-year window that will not repeat in the lifetime of anyone reading this.
Neptune in Aries dissolves the culture's faith in force as a synonym for strength. Pluto in Aquarius rebuilds power at the level of the network. For six years, those two processes can work the same shift.
A sextile is not a square. It forces nothing. It opens a door and waits.
